Luxury Retail Manager (Armenia)

Overview: Our client is a luxury department store located at the Kempinski Residences building in Yerevan, Armenia. Artlife Kempinski Residences is a 5-star residential award-winning luxurious complex with GBA 100K sqm mixed-used development. The complex hosts privately owned luxurious residences and rental apartments managed by Kempinski. Furthermore, approximately 13K sqm across the first and second floors of the four towers will be transformed into commercial spaces, offering amenities within the realms of F&B, Hospitality, Fashion, and Wellness sectors. Objective: Artlife “retail”- open space (corners, stands) department store format, 3 operators ((a) RTW, bags & shoes, (b) perfumery/cosmetics, and (c) sunglasses) identified to operate under the single brand (brand is under development). The store is planned to be operational by April 2025. The Role: Retail Manager should be able to define & execute the following goals: Boulevard Marketing/GTM, including “retail” marketing/GTM (buying decisions are within operators’ control, but constructive advice is always welcomed); Develop and implement strategies to increase store traffic and sales; Defining customer service & store operations guidance and help with execution & compliance; Defining and implementing the Loyalty program, as well as maintaining relationships with key customers; Develop and implement customer service policies and procedures; Defining revenue drivers & respective commercial terms (window display policy, for example); Overseeing day-to-day operations of the stores and solving operational issues; Identifying and developing high-potential staff to build a future talent pool for the Company. Qualifications: Qualified to degree level in a related subject; Relevant working experience with at least 5 years at the managerial level in a multinational luxury goods or high-end fashion retailer; Target-oriented and client focus; Strategic thinking, well-organized, and able to work under pressure; Capability to drive for results and deliver excellence; Strong leadership and management skills; Self-motivated, proactive, and passionate in the luxury fashion industry; Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Russian (optional) with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
